The Welfare Trust has a Board comprised of five Trustees, four Members and one Advisor. Brother Joseph presents a report to the Board each quarter. His report is followed by presentations by the Head Teacher, Head Social Worker, Counsellor, Infrastructure Manager and Accountant.
Quarterly reports on activities and expenditure are provided to donors. Donors are also invited to haveinput and make inspection visits. We conduct a financial audit of all activities and expenditure of donor funds in December-January each year. Donors are consulted about use of any unspent funds on other areas of need.
The budget is prepared in February each year. Our Accountant is responsible for monitoring the budget at regular intervals with Brother Joseph and project managers. Each project manager is responsible for ensuring their expenditure stays within their approved budget. The Accountant also reports to donors on expenditure of their donation. An external firm of Chartered Accountants completes an annual audit of accounts.
